Good morning all you poor poor frozen people. guess I shouldn't complain about a low of 25 degrees should I . but I have to tell you God made Florida for that very reason. And we can still take Florida back . we just all have to go there at once . but have to warn you that sand gets into everything

AWWWWWW who am I kidding it's a beautiful day so stop whining and put on fifty layers of cloths and get out side and enjoy it . just don't fall down with all them cloths on won't be able to get up . could be worse you could be me ugly and cold and facing maybe ten trucks of concrete at one this afternoon

I'm stayin inside..... With Jace. I weakened after seeing her shivering on her perch late at night..... But she wont stay long! I always swore I would never have a house chicken! :rant
She's in a dog crate in the cellar now. :oops:

you keep a chicken in the cellar well at least you have one have to warn you smell rises . you gonna be in trouble . you can put a light on that chicken outside and If she is shivering on her perch to much wind moving through they can stay warm if the air is still .coops and for sure coops in cold weather need to be draft free but vented as well figure that out. somewhere Walnuthill posted a picture of a chimney vent system for cold climate coops. good luck with the chicken .and I'm off to work .

Yeah, my coop has NO trouble staying ventilated..... I block all I can off and it is still breezy when the wind blows. :barnie
If I wanted a chicken in the house all winter, id hatch chicks...:love
