looks like party time

so after "calibrating" my new thermometers a few times, i finally give up and just threw them back in the bator last night, well today they are all reading pretty much the same.

i wish somebody would make a decent thermometer
sitting room temperature and in ice water they all read different, i guess they like the warm lol
so if im incubating call ducks in a styrofoam still air, i should have the temp between 101-102 and 40-50%(im not gonna add any water or mist them) and then lockdown 50-60%(add a tiny bit of water) and drop the temp down a degree? (i read that somewhere)
i also calibrated my hygrometers, they are off by ten if i did it right
ive hatched several batches of chicks before in an incubator but always had my ducks hatch their own, and since these are shipped and call ducks im extra nervous and overthinkin everything
and now my eggs are being shipped in freezing weather, i know they are fine unless they actually freeze but it was freakin 70 degrees a couple days ago
and now im pretty sure one of the chicks i needed to be a rooster may be a hen
theres my rant of the day

That shot is actually of the local ice fishing derby in early March of last year.
Over three thousand people entered. It was a two day blow out and I am sure there were more than a few that took a week or more to recover. :gig
