How cold is in Manitoba now? Brrrrrr

Good morning, Benny!
It is a very brisk -24 c or - 10 f here this fine morning!
Not sure if you use c or f there, but most of my European customers use Celsius.
I know this site is predominantly USA users, so I usually convert to Fahrenheit in chat.
Hope your nice and warm and enjoying your day!

Thanks, I do enjoy it, hope you too!
We use only C, -24 is UNIMAGINABLE for me!
I hope you will do a lot of fun with the young ones!

As in most cultures, most of what the rest of the work sees is just a portion of what is really there. By actually getting to know the people, you discover there is so much variety among the people, and so many similarities between cultures. Within our country there are those who believe food comes from the store. I live in a somewhat rural area with local butcher shops. Many parts are available if one asks. Trying new things, experiencing different cultures, foods, traditions, is the fun part of living. It's also a great way to realize how alike we all are.

The meat on the head of most animals, while there isn't a lot there, is some of the best.

Many people I come in contact with at work won't eat any of my food. I grew up frugal ( some may say poor, I disagree).

Couldn't agree more, cliques!
I grew up in a rural area, and while we didn't have a lot of cash, we were rich in so many other ways!
My grandma used to say she was 'thrifty', but frugal fits just as well.
I now have friends from many different cultures, and I love exploring the many and varied foods they grew up with!
From Ethiopian to Iranian, East Indian to Philippine foods, I have found something from all of them that I can enjoy, although I will admit, there are some I have only tried once, and can't get over the name or the ingredients.
Just like some of them can't understand the Austrian, German, and Russian traditional foods I grew up with. :frow

We make the most tasteful dishes from this Parts! We don't waste nothing!
And they are so good! The ox tail soup with root vegetables is wonderful!
I will upload some pic of this! Did you try the cheek and had meat of ox?
