What's better for incubation if you could choose... 99.0F-99.5F OR 99.5F - 100.0F ??

depending on a lot of little details, mostly what type of incubator you have

Given the accuracy of most thermos, I tend to stay at the higher end. 100-101.

Either got a rogue gene showing or somehow a mix up which is highly unlikely. The silkie pen has RIR's on one side and Khaki Campbell's on the other. But I also have not had any customers say that this has showed up either.

Not likely through-the-fence mating, and I just don't see you as one to slip up, so rogue gene makes a little more sense. Just hope it'll stay isolated to this one instance!!!

I know northerners will laugh at this post, but the temp is supposed to get down to 18F here tonight, so I'll get to see if the deicer does it's job of keeping the water from freezing. It's a Farm Innovators Premium Bird Bath De-icer C-50. I uses 110V, comes on at 35F and goes off at (I believe) 40F.



It's an optical illusion... it's not as big as it looks in the bucket.
