The eggs that have no air cell problems you treat as normal non shipped eggs. The saddle cell eggs you should let settled for a day in the carton like you said. Them check the air cells again, personally I would hand turn the saddle cells, but if they are stable then putting them in the autoturner should be okay.

Wait for an expect to pop in though before you put the saddle cells in the Turner.
Thanks!!! I need to check my auto turner to see if I can disconnect rails.

What I've done for my saddled eggs is let them rest at room temp for 24 hours. Then put in a ready incubator for 24 hours with no turning. Then plug in turner and turn and incubate as normal. Didn't hurt the other eggs handled the same way, either. The only extra care is to put the largest saddled end skyward at lockdown.

Also found that any eggs with a floating bubble (kind of like a construction level...bubble goes from end to end) gets chucked as that means the membrane is perforated.
Had no floating bubbles....
Not sure what to do with the saddle celled ones. The others I would let them rest for at least 12 hrs, for them to just settle down and get to room temp before putting them in the bator. I think most text says to let all shipped eggs rest for a period of time before putting them in.

I have had 12 sitting for 36 hours, 11 sitting for 12. I'm going to drop them all into my bator, into the egg turner. If I can disconnect 2 rails and have them not turn, but still have the rest turn for my 15 day old eggs - that would be ideal. If, I can't isolate 2 rails, I'll split the difference, 12 hours off for the whole thing, then turn it back on.

My other 'bator, 5 babies hatched last night. 4 eggs not doing much of anything. They are on day 22, so I'm leaving them alone for another day or two. The temps were a little cool for a couple days, so I think they are just slow.

As always, thank you SO MUCH for the information.
