I had previously posted some pics of my 6 week olds, but in my mind (scary place), the pictures didn't do them justice. This video seems to represent them in a much better way...

That video reminded me how much I miss having chicks... The trilling peep they do when exploring... The curious head tilt... The foofy faces.. Love your brooder set up!!!!!

Hey y'all! Sorry it's been a while but things have been busy this direction. Haven't had a chance to catch up but will be on and off in the next couple days! I hope all is well with everyone! My last hatch is now 6 weeks (yikes) and once the weather warms up above 40 they will go outside to their coop. Which I sure hope is before the next batch in the Bator comes out! So I had 6 hens and 3 Roos but lost one hen at about 4 weeks at no surprise to myself. Then surprisingly I had 33 eggs show up in my Bator and they are on day 5! I needed to add water today so I grabbed a couple to candle and every single one I candled had veins! Dang this incubating thing is super addictive!

Ooops! I wonder how that happened? Man, everyone must be settin jumpin beans... Lotsa jumping eggs right about now!

Long time no see! How's it going, ambe... other than eggs "mysteriously appearing" in you bator???    

They are lovable, and when they're that friendly, it makes them even more so!!!    

It's going good here, just crazy with the weather. Some days are nice enough to have the babies in their coop, others I take them out and force the ducks to go in there. Been below freezing for way too long here!

How about you? Are you cooking any more babies? I love that your guys are just as friendly as mine. I am currently struggling with one wanting love as I'm typing! Since the weather hasn't been the best we've been having playtime in the kitchen with the birds.
