Good evening everyone!

Just got in from chores and I have an early riser in the bator!
Hope everyone in that storm path makes it through ok out east, we had a very balmy high of 14 today. They are saying 30 tomorrow, but I will believe that when I see it!
Time to play catch up, only 400 posts, must a been a slow day.

Wish me luck ya'll. First time hatching. French copper/Wheaton/blue splash marans. Using an old hova bator with a fan. Temp is 99.5 and humidity is 47%. Tried to candle but do not know what to look for really. I expect the temp to drop after I add my eggs. Looks like I will be up for a while. Am I forgetting anything?

@Sally Sunshine , know how I know I've had too much wine? My incubator (which has an automatic water pump thingie) is holding temp and humidity pending arrival of shipped eggs. It has been on for the last couple days, so I should be used to the soft little sounds when the pump goes on. I have now gotten up TWICE tonight, thinking my toilet is running. Just now almost got up again, then I remembered.

I object to everything... so how am I supposed to remember one tiny little incidence??? I tell you what... I'm going to try to make it up to you. You can be my co-pilot, and when I need to take a bathroom break, I'll hand it over to you. How's that?
