Be thankful it isn't a busy dayYou guys talk too much. I had to go through ten pages to get here![]()
HAHAHA. Seems to pick up in the evenings. Theres over 500 new post when I get on in the morning.Be thankful it isn't a busy day
Thats what I've heard as well but wasn't sure. The heritage are supposed to be nicer than production reds.
Wouldn't think having a rose comb would play into there personality.Someone on here within the last several days was saying how RIR's can be bullies to their flock mates; not sure whether they meant Heritage or Production, though. I have not a clue what part a rose comb would play in the equation; never faced that scenario.
Might check with @Ur-ur-ur-urrr
As far as I know this guy doesn't breed mean birds. Thanks for the info.I've been breeding Heritage Reds for years. They are the friendliest birds out there.I have 5 different breeds 70 birds altogether. They get along just fine. Of course roosters and hens in separate areas unless breeding. That being said, it also depends as in any breed, on the breeder. As long as there not breeding mean birds. They will pass that trait down.
I had a talk like that with my SLW roo Kevin.......except the stick I carried broke his neck
