I think it's as stable as I am going to get it, I have to tweak it every couple of days, we are having crazy weather, 50 one day 15 the next. That's pretty normal for Ky thoughHow are the eggs doing? Did you ever get the temp to stabilize?

Three are out now. Romping around as expected with occasional power naps. Normally that wouldn't be an issue. But in the middle of the third zipping (with most of the others already pipped), this daggum incubator started dropping the humidity again (thank goodness I was there to see it). Ambient humidity is 32F. The sponges that I had put in there earlier in the custard cup were dry. So, having no other choice, I opened it quickly to add more water to the custard cup/sponges. Unfortunately, because I was rushing to get it done quickly, I poured more than I intended, and now there is about an inch or so of water in that cup along with the sponge pieces. Placed steaming water in bowls near vents (not sure that matters/helps). Here's a photo. There's about an inch of water in that cup.

Last of the three came out at 10pm, all drying nicely. The problem is that they are very agile and rambunctious (as expected), and I was afraid one would fall into the water and drown. So I kept watching them. But I am so tired that I am about to fall over - I think that even if I wanted to stay up to watch over them, I couldn't. Though NOT ideal, I ended up reopening the top very quickly to slip some nubby shelf liner over the cup to prevent immersion if one fell in. Humidity didn't drop too badly, I was quick. I am worried about the humidity levels generally - hovering at 64 currently. (Set at 70). Making funny noises. I wish I had a humidity alarm.
I really need to go to bed - quite literally falling over. I hope that they do ok humidity wise overnight. Not sure what else I can do (for this hatch, at least). Very frustrated about this.
Leaving the three little ones in there overnight (hatched at 8:15pm, 9:30pm, and 10pm; currently 11:30pm here). I figured it would be ok to wait to move them to the brooder in the morning. I think I'm doing the right thing, but I'm so tired right now I may not be thinking straight, so would appreciate advice/input. I'll be up for another 20 minutes checking back, just in case anyone's still up.
