I am sorry about your foot, and now you had all those chores and its gonna hurt even more. awwww hugs...... we need to see pictures of your birds, I screwed up my bread, I need to give it another go round, just feeling bad and dont wanna do anything.
Have a great day Kristin and please take it easy despite what you THINK needs done!
Thanks, sweetie!

It's better today (good to rest it yesterday). I ended up having to do those chores, and then later today I went to get the lumber, though all I had the chance to do was unload it.

How did you screw up the bread? (I used to screw up bread all the time until I started using an instant read thermometer - should be about 195-200F in the middle. Once I started doing that, no more screw ups.) Or was it something else?

Is it Tuesday yet? I don't think I can take any more of Monday!
:::snip story of Joey's no good very bad day::::
I don't think I'm going to set foot out the door until tomorrow...

I miss the Carol Burnett Show...there were times that they would be laughing so hard, they couldn't talk....
They had DVDs of episodes of the Carol Burnett Show and Mama's Family at TSC today - I should have gotten them...

Well, Paula is inside in a crate (in the room here with me, crate covered and lights down, so she can rest). She got her first dose of SafeGuard. But she's been panting and holding her wings away from her body at times (it's about 72F in here). She's panting so much/fast I can actually hear her. I'm not sure that there is anything I can do at this point - I hope she makes it. I honestly don't know if she will. Dang that chicken characteristic of hiding illness!!!

Quote: Yes to the blue. Some people don't bother with bottles, but just teach them to drink from a dish from the start.

There are varying opinions on Milk replacer and goats. I would just use Whole Cows milk from the store, if goats milk wasn't available.
@campingshaws Thanks Mike,

Yep, got it.

I dont know what any of those foods are, will google them, snow taffy though, hows that work lol

sounds like a cool place to take the kiddos for a bit.

Snow taffy is the easiest! Boil some maple sugar, pour a strip about an inch wide and eight inches long on clean fresh snow and then roll up on a tongue depressor of Popsicle stick.

Just make sure the snow is packed into a good bed (and not yellow) :lau
Instant sugar rush,but delicious.
