Haha! It's not THAT bad!

I found them. They were in their coop. I just couldn't see them from the window cause the door blew half shut lol. Of course, when I went out to look for them, they all came running out lol.
Tucker was underfoot this morning, neck & head high as they go, looking for a treat....big mooch

I don't even think I had thought of hatching at the time; certainly never thought of a coolerbator...

You'll get better at it. My first go around I only had 6 hatch and had 9 DIS.

@Sally Sunshine

Update on the Bieles

From Chicken Hill Poultry: Out of 12 eggs I have 2 clears and 10 veining.
From @Papa Brooder : Out of 21 eggs I have 1 Clear, 3 Maybes, and 17 veining!!!!

So I have 27/33 developing!!! Hooray for good packing and handling!!!

I have not heard of them, but that doesn't mean anything. :D do they have websites?

Murray Mcmurry does.

We have some big ones here. Cackle, Marti, Estes and Heartland.

I didn't see it if you replied to my question if you were aware of Leggs Peafowl Farm.

I wanted to ask you if that monster egg you were setting was a pea egg.

I meant to reply to that. Sorry. :oops: I've seen their website many times and know that they are respected by all peafowl breeders I know. Check out their website and read about how they incubated their eggs.

Both those eggs are pea eggs, and both came from the same hen. In another thread you suggested that I crack one open to check fertility, and I meant to reply to that post as well to explain why I won't... It's because she's not due to lay until April or May, so these two eggs might be all I get until then.
