Its pretty ugly, I have had one good 100 percent hatch and my next hatch will hopefully be quailNo reason to.... It is admirable that you can hatch in it, if it works, no reason to be ashamed..![]()

They won't let you mix and get a little of both?Ok I have found a source for some Red golden and yellow golden pheasants. Which color would you prefer they are both the same price just trying to decide which to get. I want both but that isn't in my price range right now
I just looked at the photos you posted... A bigger swollen comb is a good indication for a roo as well as a lack of tail, but that is earlier on.. when they grow tails... you are two weeks away from really knowing.. but my guess would be the larger comb chicks especially if they are turning pinkish are male.Well, if any of you are good at separating genders I just bumped up with new pictures my pullet or roo post from my Christmas hatch and the week before that on the OE
I would love to see if I am learning, because I have opinions on them, but this is my first batch of chicks.
