Thank you for the help as far as I know it isn't required to sell in my state but I do plan to chip eggs eventually.
You can also have birds tested for Mycoplasma Gallisepticum, M. Synoviae, M. Meleagridis, Salmonella Enertitidis and AI. Probably other things too but most have an additional cost.
It is a national program but administered by states so each state is different. For instance, some states only require a small percentage of each flock be tested. In MO, every bird on the property over 4 months has to be tested.
It has to be done the same month every year to stay certified.
I think some states charge a fee for even the PT test.
