Yeah, pretty much. Cleaned & bleached the troughs and screen the other day; still have to do the lid. Installed a handle on the lid so I can get it off w/o digging my nails into it. It sat collecting dust for 30 yrs before I cranked it up in Aug. after my single broody quit on me. Locked down 5, hatched 3; 1st time setting chicken eggs, 2nd time overall...other time was quail 30 years ago. Works fine; temp control touchy as H3LL, fan & turner work fine.

My brother in law, who has raised chickens for a long time and has had multiple bators told me today that the average hatch rate for store bought bators was 30 percent.. now granted, I don't know if he is FOS
