I thought it shrank when it was cold.
Thats a common misconception.

So is this how things get wired?

Two fans get wired separetely to a power adapter and plugged into a direct power source.
STC-1000 get's wired up with the heat source (two lights) and a plug to be able to plug it into a direct power source.

This way fans are always on and thermostat can control the amount of heat. Correct?
You got it! You want the fans to spin constantly but the heating elements (bulbs) should turn on and off based on what your stc-1000 wants them to do. Make sure the fan blows across the probe sensor for the controller also. It will decrease the amount of down time. The closer the probe is to the heat source the faster the controller will turn off, decreasing the amount of on time. Really it takes experimentation to find out what works best in the container you have.

Thanks again.
