I do go tubeing..... Para sailing freaks me out.. Never tried Jet skiing.... I would love to snorkel.

Snorkeling is fun, just don't forget that you're breathing out of a tube and go underwater with it thinking you can continue to breath.

I candled. It's not looking good. Tossed 4 because they were oozing. I was unprepared and rushed things because I got the eggs 5 days before I was ready. I hope the seller is kind enough to send more. Stupid weather isn't going to help things this week.
So if she sends more, I'll start over. I'll ask my SIL if I can borrow her incubator to keep these in for the possibility of a miracle chick surviving the mess up. It is way too hard to hatch these guys as is, but I set myself up for failure with the rush.

ETA: might not be able to get another bator- gonna have to get building tomorrow!

So would a good guess be that the black wire with white markings is my hot one and the black with no markings is not?

Never really paid attention to the color codes of two-wire transformers when it comes to wiring fans... but if I were guessing I'd say the white markings would be the positive wire. If it isn't, you'll simply have reversed polarity and the fan will run backwards.
