I agree with you on that have barnyard mutts from our hatch. We have seven 10 month olds, seven 2-year-olds and three 3-year-olds. We are getting 11-14 eggs a day, vast improvement from earlier this winter, we were getting two a day, both from our EE's. Definitely feeling more and more like spring here in Colorado, grass is starting to green. We still have to make it through March one of our snowiest months.

I love the colors in your AVY egg basket!! Sounds like you have a great mix of chickens. Good luck with getting through March!

Slow as molasses running uphill on a cold day in here today. Tonight, when I won't be here 'til 9:30 or so, it'll be jumpin'. I never will get caught up before most everyone's gone off to bed.
