Fishing season doesn't start till end of May up here, icebergs are hard on bass boats!

These are the little ones I found in the barn loft! I am guessing they are 10 days to 2 weeks old now, they all seem to be silkie crosses. My new silkie rooster is also in the brooder with them. Figures, I bring in a replacement Roo, and my original one decides it's time to show he isn't firing blanks!

Alright! Out of my Ayam Cemanis, day 8, 6 were definently alive and moving! Others look like clears, and one is definently clear. One has a thick protruding band around the bigger part of the egg, not visually noticeable unless you're looking straight at it. It is hard to see, but alive. Hard to candle but I did it. I'm so excited!

Alright! Out of my Ayam Cemanis, day 8, 6 were definently alive and moving! Others look like clears, and one is definently clear. One has a thick protruding band around the bigger part of the egg, not visually noticeable unless you're looking straight at it. It is hard to see, but alive. Hard to candle but I did it. I'm so excited!

Nice! Hoping you get a good hatch from them! They are so unique, I'm even thinking about getting some!

The one with the loose air cell I had straight up isn't alive. The air cell has a lot of small bubbles, quite a few of them are stuck on the sides of the egg

I just love how perfect this hatch has gone!! Everyone that's pipped so far has hatched and I haven't had to help ANYONE!!! Even the chick that pipped on the wrong end did it all by himself! This is just awesome, I'm so happy right now!! I've learned so much since my very first time hatching and this just feels like the big culmination of everything I've learned. YIPPEE!!!!
