Before your time? Wow I didn't know stuff went back that far.

Okay, lots of thoughts here!
I just finished cleaning out my fire ring, what do I do with all the stuff that was inside? The glass is what I'm most worried about. I can't just dump it somewhere. The birds and Duckling are too curious.
How do I have a duck that is afraid of all bodies of water? She drinks, but won't swim. I know that this is something that happens in large bodies of water when a duck gets hurt by a snapper or large fish. Baby pools aren't supposed to be a problem.

I was playing in the garden, and shrieked when I thought I saw a worm. I then put my bare hand into the straw that had been in the duck pen. Is this normal? :lau

A worm??? :lau
Uhh... Well, we can call it normal if ya would like...
Nobody that has chickens is "normal." ;)
So you is in good company!

I'm not afraid of snakes though! I had worms thrown into my hair my mouth and down my shirt. I've been afraid of them since.

That would make me startled at the very least by seeing worms. I'm scared of suddenly hearing a vacuum start up. Long story but had to have blood clots sucked off my eardrum with a tiny vacuum. My family's pretty good about warning me when they're going to vacuum and it gets me out of a chore

Okay, "mostly" singers. I also had a heck of a time seeing the photo. I was on my phone, and Duckling was poking at it. Hah! I am rescued!
Isn't that nice of them to poke at it like that when you're trying to use it?
I usually figure that I shouldn't be using my phone while she's awake, but my anxiety requires that I do something to relax. Her temper was bad enough without other factors.

That's the link I used to do the test. I'm just wondering if the three that are floating super low but haven't completely sunk to the bottom of the bowl are still possibly viable.

What you're looking for with the float test is movement. If the eggs are still viable, they will float and wiggle. Its not 100% though, because you could float them while they're resting and see nothing happen. I prefer to candle. By day 23 (and 24 hours after the last chick hatched), if I candle and don't see a beak in the air cell, I assume they've died and I open them up to do an eggtopsy.
