The cream legbar boys are crowing a lot in the brooder this morning. They are 4 weeks old.

Now I need to figure out how to add soundproofing to the next tractor coop for them.

That "U" screw thing. I have no idea what I'm doing! I want my husband!!

Is it bolted on, or buried in there somehow?

Do you have a chisel and a hammer (and eye protection)? I'd just start chiseling away that nasty wood until you can either free it up or see where and how it's fastened. Just watch your fingers - when I get frustrated with situations like this, I forget to be as careful as I should be.

I see so many people that use different humidity settings in their incubator. Some say from 30 to 35% and some up to 60 and 65%. What's a safe percent to use. I live in Texas.

I took off the bolts, and I tried to hammer it through. It is through a good piece of 2 x 4, and I don't want to ruin the 2x4s.
