Sorry to hear that

should I finish day four and five of corrid? Just to not weaken a med?
Not a bad idea to complete the course. However, as a thiamine blocker, not completing wouldn't have the same negative effect as not completing a course of antibiotics, for example.

My first super giant egg...hoping it's a double yolker!!!

I hope you didn't put it in the incubator.
Twinning in incubated eggs is akin to a death sentence.

On a sadder note, I am an abject failure at spraddle/splayed/twisted leg. It seemed e be more at the hip. Irregardless, she would peck off the bandaid/tape and straw, and would not stay in a chair. She drags herself around, but everybody runs her over and steps on her leg. She drags herself around, but I wonder if I should put her down. I do have a lady who takes in blind and lame chickens if she can survive the brooder, but she looks stressed. The other thing is I don't know if I can do it.
IMHO, trying to repair legs is almost never worth the time or effort.

You gotta make the River Walk & Breckenridge Park in SA. Sadly, there isn't a lot left of the Alamo, but it's still worth a visit, or was in '66 when I was there.
X2

She was on here a bit ago, it seems terribly sad that the birds I'm trying so hard to help seem to be getting hit by different things when I think I solve one issue another pops up.

I'm at such a loss, and I'm feeling so anxious over it.
Tell us more about your management. Are the birds closely confined? Are they free ranged? What do you feed?

Plain low-fat yogurt, blueberries, tomatoes, scrambled eggs and mealworms. Hopefully its enough to help my little roo.

My chicken eggs are on day 22 and no pips. How long should I leave them?
Leave them. Did you candle at lockdown? I once did an eggtopsy on an egg I was sure was on day 25. In doing so, I killed a live chick about to hatch.
Sounds like, if they're still alive, that your temps have been low throughout.
Ms,thing one this morning. Is,it safe to use a heating pad.in the brooder. [Because we don't have a heat bulb.the only one we have is 200 whatts and is way too hot
The lamp doesn't have to be a heat lamp. Any incandescent or halogen bulb will generate heat. Probably 75 watt will be sufficient.

Help!!! Lil Bit seems lethargic! Everyone else that shipped in yesterday seems fine - I worried about Lil Bit because she's SO TINY...today she is just laying there...breathing seems fine but can't get her to eat or drink yet today (she did yesterday) thoughts??? Is she just tired?? What can I do??

All the other chicks seem happy and are running around eating, drinking & snuggling...
I hope you are luckier than me. I lost 16 of a shipped group like that. The other two drowned since I forgot to tell my friend to add marbles when she put the water in with them(she went to the post office for me). :fl.
