I really like all I've seen of your work; anxious to see this one, as well

Thanks, whites! I have an acrylic painting in the works I'm pretty happy with; not sure if I will have it done by the end of April, but I'll try. :fl

Over on the springing in the chicks art contest thread, I have the first one posted on page 6 that I had to redo. (which I am basing this one off of)

Your drawings are beautiful! I stay to stick figures for a reason.

Stick figures are fun! ;)

So this one chick was the first to pip, it's been 20 hours since pip. He made his hole like this, and wasn't helped at all. The pieces were dangling off the sides so I ripped those off for him. He has been in the same position for 14 hours. What should I do about him? He isn't moving nearly as much as he was earlier.

I would say that the chick is going to need some help. Read Sally's articles and slowly assist. Stop if you see blood.

I know it is, How are you doing tonight?
I'm doing just fine. Been working on a new coop off & on. Reached the point where I need a tool I don't have, and neither does Lowes, so I spent a good bit of time with the new Northern Tools catalog trying to find it there. Found something close, but I was finally able to put enough of a description together that I found it on Amazon...I need to buy stock in that place

Get it out. My very first hatch, was BCM's. The first chick to pip and start to zip, still wasn't out when all the rest were. I finally got her out, and she was fine. She was a little shrink-wrapped though from her shell being open that long.
What I am saying, is that that chick's shell is getting dry. Use a Q-tip too wet it or go ahead and get it out.

So I am ordering 8 broilers for meat. There was a minimum amount I had to have so I added 2 bantam Cochins...should I add a polish?
