Thanks Dax!
I am fairly happy with the results too.
I saw your post about turning your ankle again during my read back last night.
Be careful with that thing!
I broke mine over two years ago and strained the tendons and ligaments in the process
Just like you, I was too busy with all of life's demands at the time, bones healed quick, but it took forever for the tendons.
Still gives me a gentle 'poke' every now and again to remind me its fifty, not fifteen!
Take care to stretch and strengthen it regularly, and it rest it when practical! :fl
I plan on trying to find some exercises to strengthen it. I am really frustrated that I was not careful enough. It is at that very dangerous stage when it is still weak and hurts to get any sideways or down and side pressure, but is just well enough to not hurt on the flat. It is easy to relax your guard. I should never have gone out in the yard where I don't normally go this time of year without the brace or at least watching each step.
Happy Easter

Dax,
Sally has posted on here, and so have a number of others on processing chickens
Tough to do the first few times, but practice makes it easier each time.
I thought I remembered a link in the notes, but I was interested in if there was a really good one in the notes or elsewhere that someone with experience preferred. Thanks

is there a good link or website to learn what all needs to be done?

I think Sally has a write up but I'm sure there's lots of stuff out there. I grew up doing it and kill pretty often. Raised my kids doing it as well. Not much too it. My youngest, Brit, has always been my wing man. She's very good help at any chore no matter what it is and never complains. She's 18 now and where has the time gone?

It flies past.
Do you have a favorite method or tool for feather plucking?
