Hey guys!!! Long time no speak!! How's everyone doing? Sally I love your new profile pic!! Quick question as my friend has just delved into chicken keeping and now has 20 fluffy babies, whats the electrolyte recipe for babies chicks? I thought I saved it somewhere but apparently not.

Well, I just ordered another cabinet incubator!
(this will be #4)

Dickeys has a 2 week backlog, everyone seems to be buying Dickey incubators now. The last one I ordered from there was shipped the next day.

Better get your order in fast if you're on the fence . . .

2 of mf first hatch, 3 cockerel, 1 pullet

6 weeks old.






This Aracauna Is the one that needed help hatching, was malpo. and had some leg problem, now it is a little Ninja!

I've lost one of my Sebastopol eggs. It started to smell, I don't think it was even fertile... might have lost another... not moving when I candled last. I still left it in the incubator. The Black Australorps and Golden Laced Orpingtons go into lockdown tomorrow so chicks should be here this weekend! Sebastopols should hatch around April 13.

I would personally cull it.    but a cup with damp papertowel and see what happens I guess.

Yay thank you!!! eletrolytes were my life saver for my last batch of chicks, almost zippo problems with poop butt after doing eletrolytes for the first week and a half!!!

I know I kinda dropped off the radar.
