Holy moly I've got yet more catching up to do.

Maybe y'all could say a little prayer for my husband...he's the kind of guy who NEBER gets sick and even when he IS sick, he never misses a day of work for anything. He has gotten so sick, he came home from work early today and he's had horrible chills, fever up to 104...horribly achy. I've never seen him this ill. He even told me a little bit ago that he feels so awful, he doesn't think he can even drive anywhere tomorrow (he typically takes kids to school for me on his way to work)

I'm really worried about him...I text our Dr and he thinks it's a bad case of the flu & it took me, my mother in law and the dr to convince him to even take Tylenol to bring the fever down a bit.

My oldest son that's been sick is getting better but he wasn't sick with this same thing. We've had a rough time since last week.

I've had influenza twice this winter, that after having a mandatory flu shot. This last round knocked me off my feet. I've had it for about 3 weeks, got bronchitis and strep on top of it. Tell hubby that he's got to take care of himself, or it will develop into something much worse. I'm still recovering, and as weak as a kitten.

well guess what? the coop we pulled out the dumpster was actually two separate coops. that is why we were having so much trouble.
Any way we have put one together. it is nice but small. I dont like the poop tray thing. but the two hens that are in there have been laying in the nest box. They are the two hens that were overbred by my young rooster. I dont think getting a giant rooster was good. My hens are small. I thought my cuckoo maran was big until the rooster came. Will the feathers grow back on my hens or do we have to wait til they molt.?

Ugh that is awful!! That's what I worry about - him making himself worse just because he's so darn stubborn!! I hope you're back to feeling yourself again soon!

Thank you whites! I've been handing him water constantly (he wouldn't do it on his own!) he's fallen asleep here in the couch - he FINALLY took Tylenol to break the fever - our Dr had to get onto him and told him he could end up causing himself a stroke with how high his fever was getting. I think it broke his fever for now but even as he sleeps, his skin is now cold and clammy and I can see him sweating.

Wish I could do something else for him. I made him soup for supper and at least he ate that with crackers.

We had winds like that several days ago. Got people standing in line for us to cut up downed trees...more firewood
