Well, I am not as entertaining, and I'm mobile so I can't remember all the hatchers, but...
Jessimom and Sally have had great hatches, though Sally lost a goosling.
Mrleeroy and ch got and set shipped eggs, someone set almost 400 eggs, and Ur received and is setting his long awaited HRIR.
Motorcyclechick lets Duckling play with ducklings in a pot on the stove.
littlelakePhil has found a creek with steelhead, but can't go fish till Friday. He also continues to worry about his wife that fell and hit her head but won't go to the doctor.
Penbmaster has had some resolution at work but is still watching out for knives.
There is lots of nail biting as people wait on hatches from eggs that either had temperature spikes or cooling due to being unplugged.
Several of our members received Badges, and Kathy got upgraded to platinum poultry yea!
Motorcyclechick has asked for prayers or thoughts during a difficult time. Chickencanoe MLM Mike and others continue to offer good advice and links.
Several discussions on egg turners, and different ways to deal with humidity in the incubators
Sally, motorcyclechick and others continue to deal with weather affecting their internet.
Kwhites634 continues to struggle with mechanical issues and offer commentaries while waiting for the weather to let him take his new coop outside..
NaJaLeHa went for a first check on their third child and the ultrasound revealed that it is actually three and four

I don't understand that resistant. She did not know what day/year it was after it, has continued to have headaches, and was so dizzy while driving last night she left her car on railroad tracks because she could not drive more.
Between strokes and aneurisms resistant or suicidal is the question.

Was she a plucker, eviscerator, or what?
It is done a lot differently these days now.
She was a plucker - I can't remember where she was living at the time. It might have been Hawaii or Samoa. Would have been early 80's.

really?

and I was thinking of putting something like that mister in a separate container of water with a tube going into the bator from that with a valve on it?????
I currently have a 10 gallon fish tank - with just enough water for the heater to work. (A much smaller tank would have worked much better) I took a mason jar and drilled 2 small holes in the cover and filled the jar half way. It floats in the warm fish tank. I have an aquarium air bubbler. I ran a tube from the bubbler into one of the holes on the mason jar lid, down into the water (I had to super glue it to keep it somewhat air tight and in place). I fed a second tube into the mason jar, anchoring it well above the water, and ran that tube into the ventilation hole on the incubator. Air is pumped into the warm water in the mason jar, and then warm moist air is pumped into the 'bator. I run that only during lock down. Since I started doing that, I have had much better hatches.

I do have a valve on it that allows me to speed up or slow down the air flow going in to the mason jar, which in turns cuts down or increases the amount going into the incubator.

Tomorrow I'll take a photo of the whole set up. Here is just a photo of the 'bator, with the tube running into it, with the fish tank contraption to the left.

Sweet set up.

Good morning all!! You are way too busy here this morning, I can't keep up!

My hatch is still hatching - day 22. Sometime early this morning I had 3 more Salmon Favorelles hatch, so I now have 8 out of 9 of my silkies, and 10 of 13 shipped SFs. I have 2 more pips on the SFs, let's hope they hatch!

@Sally Sunshine
my best friend worked in a chicken processing plant when she was younger - for YEARS after that, she wouldn't eat chicken. Hopefully conditions are more humane these days....

Off to get the munchkin ready for school. Have a great day everyone!!
Good news on the hatches! Hoe the piped ones hatch.

Our hatched chicks that are 3 and 4 days old got moved outside into their dog kennel brooder in the run with a heat pad cave. Everyone is doing well and wing feathers are developing fast.
Glad they are doing well!

Quote: Great job!
