I have a small Nissan coupe. I can get a 1 piece 8' pole in there and be able to close all the doors and roll all the windows up. Also 8' dimensional lumber. Any bigger and it has to go up through the sunroof. I also have the front passenger seat removed though (for the dogs).

Awwww!

Good evening ladies and gents. Been offline for a bit as mama and I took off on a little excursion with the boat chasing blue cats. Had a great time now it's back to the grind. Our does are getting ready to throw kids and expect the first one to go in the next day or two. Should wrap up around mid May. Always got babies being born around this place. LOL. All the chickens/ducks are laying like crazy too.

Had a fella a few miles east of us come with an odd request. He had a Lamancha/NGD bottle buckling that the mother passed away after birth and wanted to know if we wanted him. I offered to set him up on how to care for it and would stop in to help him. He didn't want to screw it up so I offered him $50 for him. Nope he was adamant no money. Sweetest little bottle baby around.

Well gotta run. Got some big ol ribeyes on the smoker getting a little smoke before I put a sear on them. Mushrooms, baked beans, corn on the cob, citrus salad. Mmmmmm. All the kids are here for dinner tonite.
Good Luck with all the kids, can't wait to see pictures!!

High temps.

It finally rained. A gentle, mostly all day rain.
Sounds like the rain was perfect!

So i havnt been on for three weeks and i now come with qustions!

Well, my newest addition finally got to see the sun this afternoon, and was checking out the chickens.
So Sweet!!

The itsy bitsy spider went up the drinking spout.
Down came the beer, and washed the spider down.
Out poured the sweat, and dried the body out
And the poor little red neck wore a giant frown
LOL!!

Did you know that the childrens song Ring around the Rosie is actually a song about the black plague? Yea creepy.
Most children's songs are strange like this

This is my second time hatching eggs. I hatched ducks last year and chicks this year. I have three chicks that have hatched, and 4 eggs that have not. This is day 23/24. I don't see any pips, but I'm afraid to "float test" them. When I candle them, I'm about 90% sure I see something moving inside (but that could just be liquid moving inside the egg, right?). At what point should I try to "help" the chicks hatch? I know it's not recommended, but I don't want to give up on these chicks!

Thanks for your help!

sorry, I cannot offer help on the eggs
But I saw it on the internet so it must be true...........right?
If its on the internet it's true, you even have it in your signature

And watch the chicken blow up like an over-filled balloon & explode? I'll pass
This sounds like fun, I have a rooster i'd like to try it on....

Good morning everyone.

OHHH NOOO!!!! SAVE THE COFFEE!!!!

@LittleLakePhil l
If you feel like a road trip, or know anyone headed that way, go to the St. Croix facility in Park Falls, WI. They make all their rods right there. You can watch them being made. their rods are pricey, but the quality is top drawer and they're obviously made in America. They have a bin full of "seconds" worth checking out; rods that, according to their standards, didn't measure up. I couldn't find a thing wrong with them when I looked through the bin, specifically for a one-piece ultra light crappie rod. Found one for $30, normally $100+. Should have bought it, but didn't really need it. Broke one the next day!
This was your subconscious yelling at you
