@kwhites634 and everyone else, please don't think I'm saying that an uncovered pen is okay for ducks because birds of prey won't attack them. They sure might, and it's something I'm willing to deal with, but if I had some sort of fancy duck(s) I'd probably keep them in a 100% predator proof enclosure.

No problem here. I know zip about keeping ducks; I just thought it was kind of strange to keep chickens in covered runs, but not ducks...just the way my warped mind works. No offense meant to anyone.

To be fair she sells nearly everything right away, she's not keeping them all.

All I know is you precede the username with @  ( @kwhites634 ) and I get the post. I've seen others say they get an email alerting them that they have a message; I've never gotten one 

What I was telling you is that St. Croix makes their rods in Park Falls WI & sells the 2nd's for far below normal price. I looked at one when I was there last year that normally sells for $100+, for $30...nothing wrong with it as far as I could tell.

I thought perhaps if you were going near there or know someone who is, it might be worth checking out.

X2.....,I like letting my ducks run... But I'm having Bald Eagle issues.... Hopefully I won't lose any buy it's the Chance I'm taking....I plan to get some calls... Probably Willi keep then close...... My ducks lately have between going into the woods.... Got to figure a way to break them of that....
