in roughly the same boat. First hatch and only one from the bator since yesterday, no more pips. 4 from a broody tho.

Congrats on the broody and the solo bator chick! Any hope for the others, or are you giving up on them? I've had some horrible hatches, I've had some great hatches! I hope your next hatch is MUCH better!!

I woke up to the 2 pipped eggs hatched and 1 more pipped.... Having my first cup of coffee and trying to find some energy

Yay! Go chickies go!!

I also have the 2 that hatched last night and 1 pip this morning.

The freezer space is limited here as well. Good problem. At least for the roosters. When I butcher I use the seal meal bags. Due to space I cut all meat off backs do not freeze them.
