For those wondering, I have Baby in the refrigerator and hopefully the flies that got to her this morning didn't have time to lay eggs on her, or if they did they won't hatch because of the cold fridge. Husband is double-checking with Ghent to see if they do necropsies but I'm not holding my breath. If not we'll be burying her, he wants her put to rest.

I am sorry for your loss. It amazes me how often the ones we like best get sick of die. Maybe it is just more memorable because of our attachment.

I wish I had your dog for an hour. I have to go get my cow out of a forty acre pasture where she has been with with a friend's cows to visit the bull on foot by myself. This ought to be fun I hope your sheep chores went well.

No, just me and my bucket of grain. I am going there now. After work I had to stop at a friend's house who is out of town and do her chores. I wish I had a four wheeler or my horse there. This is going to be a chore, but better than the last time as it was the week after I sprained my ankle and I was using a crutch.
