Yes, she had that out patient surgery today. Hurting some, headache, but recovering.

 Yesterday, was the pre-op consultation, and today was the surgery.

Glad she is okay. Give her hugs from us, if you happen to talk to her!

This was a small remote pond.... Any where else those would be keepers.... But this is a trophy Lake...... You are allowed one 15" or larger Brook Trout per year..... Artificial bait only..... I've never caught a keeper here but we didn't care.... We were happy to catch a bunch of decent Trout...... And take on the scenery.....

What lures? I keep a couple Super Dupers in different sizes for the few times I go after Rainbows

Stocked, or native?

They stick 200 Mackinac Brook Trout in this pond every year..... But I've never seen anyone else fish it....

What lures?  I keep a couple Super Dupers in different sizes for the few times I go after Rainbows

I used little Cleo's.... Brass in color cuz this pond is full of golden shiners....

I rarely keep fish anymore, 'less I'm wanting a fish fry.

I don't Keep a lot... It's only me and the wife
.... So I throw back a lot or give away

That's about how many Rainbows they stock in this little pond here, maybe an acre, but I doubt it. Guys follow the stocking truck around from place to place. For 3-4 days after they've stocked you couldn't find a place to park with a shoe horn. Then when sanity sets in again, you have to watch where you're going so's you don't step in someone's Power Bait paste.

Heck I don't like it if someone else is on the same Lake as me.... But I've Seen it like that when I was in Detroit.... People would surround the whole Lake.... That's not Trout fishing to me..... And them fish don't taste the same either.....

In 35 years I've only Sean a couple of other people fish this pond.... Most people don't know it exists... Hopefully it'll stay that way
