I ain't putting up with his crap any longer.
He actually came out of the coop after me just now while I was nudging the last 2 hens up the ramp so I could close up for the night. He flew at me, feet first, & I knocked him out of the air. I got a couple scratches on the chest out of the deal; nothing serious.
I'm just liable to introduce him to Mr. Winchester tomorrow. This S.O.B. is nastier than the one he replaced.

Get a nice Lavender Orpington. Mine was very nice for a rooster. Too bad you are so car away, I have three extras plus RIR, HRIR, CCL, etc. Lol
I hope you find a nicer one.

Not my original idea. Saw one a guy had made on the "Show me your feeders" thread

I heard those feeders don't work worth a hoot. They still waste so much feed so I took a five gallon bucket and and cut five wholes around it I think the wholes are about 4.5 inches or 5 inches round and hang it from the roost in the run busy a peice of chain with a dog clip. And my baby chicks when I take them out to per mentality stay out with the big chickens they crawl in he wholes and and from inside the feeder and when they are done they have to wait until the bug chickens are done to be able to come back out the wholes. It's so funny
