What's the temperature where you are???

-1C at the moment, which is much milder than yesterday morning. Light snow falling (oh joy...), forecast high of +1C today. Overnight temps going down to -7C tonight and tomorrow night -18C.

Winter is firmly entrenched it seems, these temps are more in tune with January February, than with December.

Only 170 days until May 'two four' weekend which is our unofficial start to 'summer' or in my words, weather without snow (usually).

We had our first snow yesterday it was lovely and light - at the same time my first grandchild came into this world - also lovely and light! Her name is Aurora Safia 🥰 she’s beautiful and now I am Grandma Ducky. Praise God!
Congratulations, Jen! 🥳

This is usually around the time, in my neck of the woods, when I prepare for hibernation from the scorching heat of Hades! I live for October's end, and temps dipping under 85.

Grocery stores should have plenty of cardboard for you.
I got more cardboard than I need. A buddy of mine works at a machine shop. His employer was happy to see and hear that I needed cardboard. (they have a hard time of getting rid of it)

I now have more cardboard than I need, and the boys and girls are happy to be warm.

I hear you, I have to put water in front of me at work. Winter is worse than summer as I don’t feel thirsty.

Use a scarf, that will help keep your face protected. Here we have a lot of blowing snow and squalls so a scarf is very handy.

Yesterday morning at work, arrived and it was fine, 30 min later snow squalls

Fairly typical of here, though usually not so early in the winter!

Only 4.75 months until May!

(Did I mention I detest winter?)
I do nowadays... These bones are getting older

71° and clear with 21% humidity at 2:00 P.M.

Here's a beautiful mountain lion on a local trail cam.
