Hello! I really need help! My chicken had abandoned a few eggs before hatching and a single check who she had pecked badly. The check is in the incubator with another two eggs. When they hatch how do I bring them back in with the chicken?

I may have, I've done them before-hate doing it. I just went down to figure out why the 12 hour chick was screaming and humidity was dropping and it didn't look right and the membranes were all glued to it face so I had to pull that one and gently coax them off with water. Then I popped the shell open and I had to rinse off some bits and some of the yolk sac was dangling there - sticky /mushy but strong seeming chick ... Very tired. I have one brooder empty and rather than put it with the eggs and bits I put it under a 250 watt bulb on paper towels and am hoping it can get some rest and then I will wash It and put something on the umbilical later... There was something wrong with it :-/ I hate when that happens... Seems the stragglers don't do as well or variables :-/ poor thing was actually completely stuck. The side ways one I thing I don't know... Im not sure it's ok. I kinda want to not touch it for that reason cause in
Squeamish... Err... 14 perfectly fine chicks, one sticky, one poorly positioned and 6 that I don't know what's up with them might just not be viable, it's day 22/23 :-/ I still hope they hatch:-(

From pip to hatch can take up to 24 hrs. The one that's been stuck zipping from a weird angle may need help. Have you read the assisted hatching article?
