if it hatched on its own and was early, your temperatures may have been a bit high during incubation.

it should absorb on its own, and yes it does happen fairly frequently in my experience especially if they pip early

That makes sense. My temps were a bit high for a few days around day 5 to 9, roughly. I had had the incubator in our workshop where I had 2 brooders with chicks set up, plus a space heater, but I think the temps were too cold outside, and the digital thermometer+hydrometer wasn't reading any higher, so they probably got too hot when I turned up the heat. It stayed at about 98.8 for the rest of the incubation though. Sometimes it got up to 100.6, but that was it.

I just started thinking, that's not intestines right? I think it is a little smaller, but it's hard to tell since its drying off. It's acting pretty tired, but that's normal right? Sorry it's just this is my first time hatching in an incubator, and I'm just worried.

Are those day 14 tracings? Yes, 60% is too high.

No more rocking this morning. Some look great and ready to pop and others look like theres still a ton of room. Aircells havent changed since day 14 in most. The light pink oned seem to loose the most. Took out the water and it back into the 30s for humidity. If no more rocking ill lock down tomorrow. Today is day 17.
