I also grow rhubarb in a back garden. It makes the most delicious sauce ever..... You really can't beat homemade!

I have mint growing behind my garage. The first landscaper told the second to cut it down. The second told the third. I lost my rhubarb earlier this year for the same reason, but it came back in a hurry, and I was able to harvest some (that is in the fridge, and I hope has not spoiled with how stupid I have been lately. ).
Now, what do I do with mint, other than tea, anyway?

I am physically tired but fine. I dislike the heat of summer. I really should move further north. I am going to do chicken chores after church, and then ride with a friend this evening. How are you, and what is going on?

I love rhubarb, but I don't have any. I am going to try one more time, but I really need a bigger stronger starter then what they sell here. It can't get established enough before the heat. I even tried ordering some, but they would not send it till May. That is too late here. Morning!

I agree on doing some things before coffee. And needing more afterwards. It is just the way it goes. I have so many coffee quotes, but ... I will lay off of them for a while.

I can also agree on waking to a cleaner house. I have some sheets that didn't dry right in the dryer (thanks to the comforter!) and are laying across some baskets in my room drying. I also have an imitation Pack n Play that doesn't like to fold properly. Apparently, the other people in Duckling's life never did baby proof, and still put her in a playpen. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Sorta. But I was surprised when she drug it out of her play room, and had me set it up yesterday.
When I get that all cleaned up, I will be so much happier.
