Anyone have any tips on getting the netting off/out of the tiller?

If razor blade doesn't cut it try pruning shears. I cut one side and pull over bar to remove. Painfully slow regardless. My tiller is on the back of tractor. Twice I've caught a t-post the former owner left behind. Yeah there were lots of voices coming from me and they didn't stay silent.. Made it into a pretzel and it took a sawzall to remove.

Oh, gee.

My hands hurt from trying to get the netting off, and that is not going to change. I must go take care of the situation I can do something about. It isn't going to get better on its own.

Goodbye!

I am glad you enjoyed the joke.
I have no idea. I used to ask the same question. Wing offs around here used to be on Mother's Day. I understand Father's Day, but ...
I think I have tried all but the butt burner.

I hear you on that.
I can agree that food should be tasted, not simply felt. But, I do believe that if you don't need a few tissues, the chili isn't hot enough.
Yeay, fermenting jalapenos!!
One jar is fermented Chocolate Habaneros, one is fermented Fatali Habanero, one is Half Jalapeno, half habanero, last is mostly jalapeno with a few bell, tabasco and Ancho chilis.
Thanks. I was hoping that there was a magic spell.

I know - ever since the Harry Potter books, I've wanted a magic wand!! I'm sorry you got tangled!

Knife. Pull the outside set off tines off (held on, usually, with cotter pins).Makes getting the netting loose much easier.
I agree - on my smaller tiller, I've pulled off the tines to clean the stuff that winds around. My monster tiller, it's a bit more difficult, but it has a reverse gear. I haven't had a need to clean them yet. I'm wondering how that will work.

Amen! Guns don't kill people; people kill people. Gun are tools, just like a shovel is a tool. Used correctly, both are valuable. In the wrong hands, both can & have taken lives. I guess shovels should be confiscated, destroyed, and possession / ownership of them made illegal
Especially the shovels with high capacity magazines.
I've been a gun owner since I was a young boy. I'm an advocate of gun rights. But not requiring background checks for mental stability and to allow someone on a terror no-fly list to legally purchase assault type weapons and high capacity magazines is the definition of insanity - IMHO.

If they have, I haven't heard it.
Another crazy person.

It's like getting long hair out of the rotating brush on a vacuum cleaner.

Goodbye!

Wear gloves.
Good luck, Abi; it shouldn't be all that difficult.
Outer tines off is a good idea. Mine are a real bear.

Always good if you have a tiller that the tines come off. Mine liked to find old red polypropylene baling twine where we used to live.
Worse mess I had was a hundred foot electric cord wound up in my lawn tractor snowblower....oops...
