Hey all, I just received the best ever excuse to hatch some eggs:



I was given the incubators about 2 weeks ago and this afternoon answered a knock on my door to a doz assorted gamefowl eggs. Well, one of the incubator's fired up and warming up, since it looks like I have no choice here? *sigh*

@Chaos18 my fate is sealed? Been awhile since I hatched something and I'm not familiar with this incubator (Novital something-or-another), so we'll have to see how this goes…

I've been thinking about something for the past few weeks......

Recently, I was sitting in a waiting room and saw a family. They all had their phones out and were texting or playing games. They were not interacting with each other or talking. Increasingly, I have been seeing this. Young children that do not have any interests. They go to school and do stuff on their phone, and that is what their life is. I see this especially in those living in city environments. Obviously, I see many families that are not this way- It is the ones that are that way that scare me.

Where are we headed as a country if all kids are learning is school subjects and how to tri-star an Angry birds level, and not so much important life lessons?

Yes your fate is sealed. Good luck with them. I've never heard of that incubator so you'll have to let us know how you like it.
