Yes my children know where there food comes from when it comes from our property.

I don't watch them either. For some children yes it might be to much to watch a chicken die.

mine would still be upset at first but she gets over it quickly, and understands the cycle of life. Did you see the pictures of the cows i posted? She knows that we are going to eat one of them and eventually all of them

Agree, dont show her the actual killing, but I think that the butchering is another thing.
What is the purposes, of showing her?

It is wonderful to eat your own cattle! This is somthing that I will NEVER have! I really wish .....
