I'd probably go with 3 and 5 unless you have calves that can squeeze under. I've seen cattle step through openings that were too large.

Any hot pepper! I give them a paprika powder made of one of the hottest breed, we call it "Shata" or " Sudanya" I dont know its scoville index, but it is hot!! The nonus is one of the most red yolk ever!

They are setting up to do some farm work in my field and I have 34 chickens out. My border collie Ellie is amazing, she got them all in from several locations in a couple minutes. She listens so well now it is almost like she uses her eyes, ears and nose as well as mine. She is so gentile with the big fat ones, the one that lost a foot as a chick and any I command her to do so. If I point and say "naughty chicken". It is game on and that chicken WILL be back in the flock. Ellie has gotten agressive with chickens, but only by command and she is 1,000 times easier on them than they are on each other when the favorite treats are served.
