OK what I do to roast wild birds or store bought .
Oven at 350.
Bird thawed/cleaned whichever
Get out roasting pan with lid
Quarter 2 apples, chop some onion, tiny bit of onion
Stuff cavity with apple
Place in roaster
Lay thick sliced bacon over bird top cover it completely
Add water, dash of red wine, pepper salt onion
Roast that bird
Then ohhhh myyyy taste bub delight!

Sounds great! And easy! Thank you!

This one runs to him and our son most the time but comes to me for things she needs. Food, water and her medicine. She has horrible allergies and they have gotten worse as she ages. She is going blind now on top of it.Our first dog was a Roth back years ago. He was my baby, he loved Jeff n Coty too but he stuck by me mostly. Couldnt go in the bathroom without him trying to join me. He got in once and jumped in the tub with me. Not good to have a 156 lb. Dog on ya in the tub. Best babysitter ever though.

That is funny about the old dog.
What do you have this dog on for allergies? I just don't think Benadryl is cutting it anymore, and the new vet won't give me anything for the while season. They insist that Benadryl should be working.

Benadryl won't touch her allergies and hasn't for 5 years now. She has two pills and 2 soaps from the vet. Without the one pill she pulls her hair out and scratches until her skin is gone.

Half awake!
Good morning! What should we call you? We already have a CC & a cc......

The Burds are doing great. Glad to meet another fellow burd crazy....... :highfive:

He had no problem at my other house, but when we decided to move here for the property (half an acre at the other house, a full acre and the coop already built here) he began itching up a storm! I keep thinking he is allergic to cats.

I am sure it is some plant that is growing here, but I just don't know what. He is put on steroids of one kind or another, sometimes two (well, the old vet did). That used to clear him up. When the itching continued into the winter this past year, the new yuppie vet didn't want to give him anything. He had to be put on a steroid for bronchitis, but that did not help at all (they said it would, and it really should have). They said to give him Benadryl.

I keep calling, and explaining that it is not working. I don't have a plethora of vets to choose from either!

She is on Apoquel and Ketoconazole. The Apoquel is what keeps her from scratching her skin off. Think the other is to treat yeast infection, can't recall. She is allergic to grain and who knows what else. Fish and sweet tater diet for her, hence the gas smell. Whoa!

LOL! He has food allergies too, but he is just on a food you can get at TSC. The testing showed that it was either chicken or beef he was allergic to. Obviously, I give him chicken. Sometimes beef. It seems to be the beef. His food is venison.
