Sweet dreams, AbiGood bye, peeps.
Yup - agree, me, too - and I need to get more sleep anyway. Busy week next week starting with tomorrow.

It's always important to actually go into the home to check on the elderly. It happens so often.Sorry y'all had rough days. I came home from church and grocery shopping for my dad to discover that his air conditioner went out. Ugh it was 98 degrees inside. So not a fun day.
I typed a big post earlier but it disappeared.![]()
You're not nuts. But I don't really want to relive the days of my youth without such a thing as AC in the same conditions we have today, summer after summer.Y'all will probably swear I'm nuts, but my BR is not air conditioned. We have a window shaker that we used to use there, but I'd rather open the 3 windows for cross-ventilation & crank the ceiling fan into high gear; lot cheaper than running an extra AC unit. DW's BR, on the other hand, is like a walk-in freezer.
I watch the weather reports. When it has been warm and it's going to be cold, I like to close the house up to retain some of the warmth and vice versa. My wife is the complete opposite. She'll keep the windows open till the weather turns and immediately turn on the AC or heat.We use the fan as long as we can, but that's definitely taking it to the next level.![]()
