Seriously thinking about her.
Ugly on the humidity. When I lived on the coast for a semester I can remember fog dripping out of trees. Sheets never felt dry. Nor did I after shower. I don't miss that.
Go for it.

When I lived in Costa Rica, I thought the sheets were very cheap and flimsy. I then realized that thicker sheets never dry out. Few people wear jeans because they'll never dry.

That's just shipping. Hen is free. Yay
The last time I checked on shipping an adult trio it was about $100 without the boxes.
I haven't had trios in a while but when I have a perfect trio I'm willing to part with, they're $250.

At $45 a pop? Why not?

3 Horizon shipping boxes for single adult birds are $60. 3 is the minimum purchase.
A cheaper box from FeatherEX is 17.50 but it costs 15 to ship the empty box to you.
One will hold two pullets or a large rooster.

Few companies make them. They have to pass strict guidelines from the USPS.
They have to be strong enough that a bird won't escape or get crushed in shipment and they have to have enough filtered air holes so the bird/s get maximum ventilation.

And a day old chick is $29 from GFF right now. Plus shipping and you can't get just one.

Byc is all dead
I guess Imma go shame my chickens online, I have a goose who cowers to ducks but stands up to goats and big brahma roos, A roo that thinks he is king crap and goes from coop to coop seeing what hens are laying eggs, I have a roo who has an injured leg from fighting king roo but insists on getting on the girls and hurting himself more and more, I have a hen that steels pizza out of the husbands hand, I have a hen that insists on laying eggs in the hay feeder, I can go on and on with their little antics.....
Rofl I wish my birds were this fun!!

Good luck with the splayed legs, sorry about the one you lost. :lau I think the degrees you're missing showed up here. I've been hearing thunder on and off for two days, very little rain. Are they little ducklings? My ducks always loved the rain. I'd wait until the check cleared, before shipping it out.
Lol yes she loves the puddles

I've seen trios from GFF for up to $500.

I'll let you guys with the deep pockets play that game. I'll stay with what I can pick up myself and breed from my own stock.

No deep pockets here. I've been raising chickens too long.
