Ok so the duckling is moving in the shell but I want to know if I should assist at this point since he was zipping an hour and half ago and has made some prgress but not tons and if so how do I assist it when it's zipping?

Thank you for the articla but none of the answers match my situation as the egg is almost finished but has not made any progress for a good while I am thinking more humidty.

You can continue to finish the zip for the duckling and take off the top cap of the egg. Let the duckling push off the rest of the egg if it's able to. When assisting it keep it in a warm wet paper towel.
