They need permanent housing that they can imprint on so they know where to sleep at night.

Barring that, they'll just find a place to hunker down in the woods at dusk or if older, they'll sleep in a tree.

Hopefully get some supplies tomorrow and see if I can get something figured in on them... I'm on my own with this one

URGENT!!!


My house is getting hit by a HUGE lightning storm, and I have an incubator with 26 Eggs in it. the power has already gone out twice, but came back right away. should I wrap the incubator with towels so that if the power goes out for a while, they won't die? Thanks!

Do you have a cellar, garage or other larger place (besides the tote) where you can keep them till the coop is finished?

Somewhat depends on what day the eggs are on. How far along are they?
Do you have a means of boiling water or baking bricks if the power goes out?
