Quote: Since you mentioned that you were thinking about buying a Janoel I thought this was worth sharing. This incubator is a Janoel, not the knock off and it requires constant attention... While the Janoel display was reading 37.5 the internal temp jumped to almost 106 and killed off 90% of my eggs. Perhaps mine is an exception, but I sure don't trust it after that. the humidity display is broken now and reads 75-99 % even when there's no water in in.

I need to do all those things, except smoke the salmon. It has been raining since 6AM and supposed to rain till Tuesday so I don't think I'll get any of the things done I need to outside.Okay my agenda today....
1. Clean duck pens
2. Clean little ducks cage
3. Build gate
4. Paint picnic table
5. Smoke salmon
Okay so feel free to take on any of these for me.
It would make my day easier.

Congratulations and Happy Birthday @rddragonhart69
You have to take the toe and heel off. Given their state, you will need to take what you can evey week for a few weeks until you get the whole hoof right. Just cut thin sections of the heel off(toe too) at time watching for pink or blood. You want to be straight with the coronary band.I think I have 1 1/2 tons of hay delivered every three months, but I'll have to check records to verify that.
@daxigait
Any thoughts on getting bottom of these hooves even? Thank You.

@mlm Mike please advise on this? Is this something I can work on myself or do I need to call someone with more experience?
This is one of my 7-mo wethers. They were both like that on all four hooves, but the other one wasn't quite as bad. I had a friend showing me how to trim the hooves; he didn't feel comfortable cutting any farther. That growth is soft. Would concrete to climb on help any at this point?
