It is expensive. I usually buy it from Amazon in a 4 pack. I have found a few recipes that use almond flour and coconut flour (coconut flour is cheaper). I will get my recipe out and send to you tomorrow![]()

What eggs do they lay
I think that is mean. Especially with snow on the ground.
Separate the eggs and only discard those that clearly stink.@BantyChooks
I threw out most eggs I took from broody as bator stank. A few serama n sapphires left.
I did set BCM and serama an hour ago though @sarasweatman
Ancona chickens or ducks?I think all of the Ancona eggs I've incubated have been right around the 65-70 gram mark.
LOL Thanks.
Unless the worm load is tremendous, you won't see worms. If you suspect worms, you need to have a fecal sample read.Hi All!
I have a building I use as a 4 way coop. 2 bottom shelves have outdoor access, and 2 top shelves do not. I recently reorganized and moved all the babies out of the top 2 shelves. I didn't clean them right away. It's been about 2 1/2 weeks since I emptied the birds, and as I tried to clean it this morning.I took out the bricks that had been holding the water containers. The hay and poo that was behind the brick was still a little damp - I had knocked over the water container when I was catching the babies to move them. I found small, thin, white worms crawling around in the poo.
I spent the day looking at fresh poo - no sign of worms. The bulk of the babies that I took out of that coop are in the mobile pen I moved over to a friend's house. I've been keeping an eye on those chicks since I only get over there twice a day - I have seen no signs of worms. The poo was a little runny the first couple of days, considering the move and the heat wave we've been going through. But, the last week or so, it's been normal.
So, do I de-worm all the chickens, or do I just add some ACV to the water? Just because it was in an empty coop, does that mean the chickens are infested?
Thanks!!!
Not unless you post pictures so we can judge.Does my chicken mansion count as a pallet coop?![]()
Broodies have started eggs at this point. I have put some eggs they are used to so maybe one started. Headed back out to check and reset the trap. Got another raccoon.
