They destroyed my brand new chair cushions - had only had them one day! Not happy.

I'm going to play Devil's Advocate here for a bit. Yeah,I wholehearted agree with all that's been said here, but at 13 was your attention on schoolwork, or the cute guy on the other side of the room, or at the desk right next to you? It's easy for us as parents to sit here and talk about what should be, while we choose to forget what was uppermost in our own minds at the same age.

Actually, yes, my attention was on my schoolwork and sports. I didn't even think about dating until I was 19. I realize this is not the norm. However, I was raised the same way I am raising my daughter, and the school I went to (like the one she goes to), has a no dating rule; so that helps.

Edited to add: It also helped that I had an older brother and thought him and all his friends were AWFUL, so I had no desire to be around them anymore than I had.

15 yes 13 no not me, but I grew up hard.

Sorry I don't have a better picture of the compost bins but here's the piping from the coop.
pictured is part of the third bin. The pile in it is usually pretty small both because I pull compost from it to fill garden beds but also because it really shrinks as bacteria consume it.

Keep in mind that no matter how much high nitrogen material goes into the compost, nitrogen flushes rapidly so even using fresh compost, you'll still need to add nitrogen for heavy feeders like brassicas.
I have my killing cone on the post so blood flows into the first compost bin. However, given what I just stated about nitrogen, I'm thinking about moving it to the third pile.




This is my auto nipple water system in that building. It holds almost 10 gallons.
The high exit pipe is so water won't leave the system till it is full.



The right fitting takes a female hose fitting. The left fitting has a filtered vent that allows air into the system when unpressurized.


When I fill the system, I hook up the hose with low flow and run a tube into the gutter drain that goes to the compost. In case I don't catch it when it is full, it will just flow onto the compost pile.

The one I went to most certainly did, but that's a whole different story. My daughter's school does not allow dating at school, at school events, on school field trips, etc. What we do on our own time is our business, but I have to say that I agree whole-heartedly with the no dating thing.
