Anything it can't carry off it will sit there and eat. I would think they could carry off about 25-30% of there body weight.

Yes and no. They make saddles that have an eye on them. It makes the hawk think there is a predator bigger than it.

Nets are the best protection against hawks!

depends on how determined they are, just give them lots of places to hide

i just do around the eyes, just watch for blood feathers

cd's on strings
and those hawk target things

it was a white polish, i kept its crest trimmed and yet it was still stupid
