Saw some talk of doms... All 6 of my dom chicks turned out to be roosters.

Ok, I know I talked big the other day and I still stand by all that... Today I just have some questions.

Some of y'all process any bird (regardless of breed or sex) at any time (regardless of age or size)? This is the one my boy named Cow Meat. I weighed him today, he's 3.5 lbs. He felt thin when I picked him up, but he's got some HRIR in him and I don't want to wait another six months for him to fill out. So he's not going to be a pretty table bird, but he'd make good gumbo, right? :/

The dog ,an expert cat hunter, was sleeping on the cahouch.
The kittens just came near and woke it up
It stud up, preparing itself to pounce on the un experienced kittens.
So you still think it is a cute pic?
(All ouer Talmudic traditional learning system(more then 1500 years now!) is based on the principal of the איפכא מסתברא =On the contrary! So I had to post the other option
Sorry!)

And here I thought you were having fun camping. Enjoy the pool, speaking of I need to go clean filter then mow orchard and pick apples

It isn't the camping we are used to. We all are "sleep in tents or on the ground, but give me a toilet!" kind of campers. This has become people on top of each other, and no woods to hike".

Lost all my quotes. :barnie

Hi all!

love them too! glad you got them!
Thoughts for worming a multi aged flock. We found round worms when butchering a couple of our Bielefelder roosters, if they have them, I'm sure the whole flock does.
I have Pig Swig (Piperazine(Wazine) which is a liquid added to water, or I have Rooster Booster multi-wormer triple action (Hygromycin B in a feed concentrate and vitamin supplement) which you add to feed.
Which products have you used and had success with?
what worms? I use ivermectin and alternate with safeguard or wazine

I'm not. Obviously, I wash my hands if there is visible fecal matter on them, but otherwise I don't worry. If I had an unhealthy immune system I'd change my ways, but as it is I think washing hands every time you interact with them is overkill.... For me. Young kiddos, the elderly, and sick should by all means be very careful!

Oh! Another important note. I've been around critters for my whole life, so I am a bit more resistant to icky stuff. If I hadn't been around animals prior to chickens I would wash my hands after touching them and not cuddle them as much.
